Lady - Samus Aran

A painting I did for a friend, a birthday present. Super Metroid's one of his favorite games so I though it would be a cool thing to do if we painted a version of that classic SNES-game's intro sequence. The picture this is based on looks like this:

The photo's not great, but I think that the pixel version and the painting has that kind of HD-remix feeling to it like some of the remade SNES games (like the Street Fighter 2 HD Remix) has to it's original games. It's a pretty cool thing to have on your wall if you're a Metroid fan Hope all of you SNES-fans like it : D

*I named the piece "Lady" since that's Samus' nickname in some of the games, it's a bit cliché, but I like it in the context. Fits the feel of the character.
