Space Wolves -Ragnar Blackmaneby *TheLandoBros

Not much to say.. a long time ago I started drawing another Space Wolf-fanart, and a looong time later this piece was finally finished.
It depicts Ragnar Blackmane (a famous Space wolf special character) and some of his battle brothers fighting some tyranids on some industrial forge world.

Tried to use more shadows and more black this time, like one of my favourite warhammer illustrators, Mark Gibbons (for more info on that guy, see my current journal).

Those are real runes.. most of them anyway. And that's Bjorn The Fell-handen in the background o.O

About this work-I like it.
It's not great at all,there are too many details,and the bad thing about that is that there is no depth between them,but that will simply come with practice,as you seem very promising.
But,it's been two years since you've done this,and I hope you see my point.Still,I like it.

It's actully more than that, I started this one and finished the base of it in 2007(!) and then I forgot it for almost a year before I evenutelly finished it xD
I've actually got a similiar space wolf-pic going on right now that's almost finished! I think it's better than this one in pretty much every aspect. Still a huge amount of details, but I've become better at letting the bakground blur out a bit due to distance.. feels bad since I love details, but I know it's a necessary evil xD
I'll probably finish it this month, so if you takeka look here in a month youc an compare them
